Patient Follow Up Care After Liposuction
Immediately following surgery you will be given garment(s) that will be
fitted to you by Dr. Long. You will then be placed into our recovery room
were we will give you water and snacks post surgery. Once you’re
home we ask that you drink 1 12oz bottle of water every hour until 6 hours
post surgery to ensure your body is staying well hydrated. You will be given Dr. Long’s
personal cell phone number so that you may stay in close contact with him
throughout your recovery. The day after your liposuction surgery, Dr. Long and his staff
will meet with you to make sure you’re wearing your garment(s) correctly and to make sure
you’re healing well. Then, we will meet with you again regularly as needed after surgery.
Depending on you recovery, your next follow up appointments will be made 1- 8
weeks apart. As always we encourage you to stop by or
call Dr. Long anytime; no appointment needed.
