Scar Treatment

 

The appearance of scars can be greatly reduced using fractional laser treatment. This procedure delivers to the skin pinpoint laser microbeams, called microthermal treatment zones (MTZ). The laser beams cause new, healthy skin to be formed along with collagen remodeling and new collagen formation

 

When healing is complete the skin is smoother and scars and other irregularities are diminished. Types of scars treated include surgical scars, acne scars, small burn scars, traumatic scars and others.
